Labor and Immigration Solutions
Our clients rely on us for the entire work cycle, from daily advisory services to dispute resolution.
We provide support on key matters for employers, including contract negotiation and drafting, conflict prevention and resolution, as well as litigation before specialized and higher courts. Our practice covers a broad range of services, from advising on hiring and termination processes to structuring compensation packages. We also handle internal investigations related to workplace harassment and sexual harassment, subcontracting, labor audits in mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
We assist our clients in complex labor matters such as internal disputes, challenging dismissal processes, and termination agreements, as well as negotiating employment conditions for senior executives.
Likewise, we support our clients, their employees, and foreign service providers, in their immigration needs, accompanying them during the process of obtaining visas and permits.
Recognizing the importance of cost optimization, we have developed an effective conflict resolution strategy. Our extensive experience in severance negotiations helps reduce the risks and costs associated with labor lawsuits, which are often lengthy and require substantial evidence and witness testimonies. However, if necessary, we have the expertise and resources to represent our clients in judicial proceedings. We have defended their interests before Labour Courts, designing defense strategies, filing pleadings, presenting evidence, and attending hearings both in person and remotely.
Given the dynamic nature of this field, we have guided our clients through adaptation to various recently enacted laws. These include the «Ley de Jornada de 40 horas», which reduced the maximum number of working hours. To ensure compliance, we have updated employment contracts, Internal Regulations, and work shifts while maintaining business productivity. Likewise, we have assisted clients in implementing the “Ley Karin”, which introduces changes regarding the prevention, investigation, and sanctioning of workplace harassment, sexual harassment, and violence. Our services have included employee and employer training, as well as updating Internal Regulations to incorporate all the requirements and provisions established by this law.
Additionally, we keep our clients informed about relevant legislative modifications, including Law No. 21.645, which promotes work-life balance, and Law No. 21.690, which strengthens the inclusion of people with disabilities and recipients of disability pensions in the workforce.
